De Strooper's Last Dance

Paul de Strooper, 39, of Portland, will end his career as a principal dancer when he leaves the Oregon Ballet Theatre on June 10. His last performance will be "Firebird." He's moving on to Victoria, B.C.. in his native Canada, where he'll help create a full-time ballet company, serve as a choreographer and play smaller character roles.>
