A Moment in Time: the Erie Canal Museum

The Erie Canal Museum is the only one dedicated to the history of the Erie Canal. Executive Director, Diana Goodsight, explains why there is a Erie Canal Museum next to a busy paved street. In 1922, the city decided the canal should be filled in in order to promote commerce and make way for automobiles.
