2009 - Las Vegas
After struggling with alcoholism and homelessness for the past decade, street painter Wendell Edwards, 51, has been given a second chance at life. Family, friends and a passion for street art have motivated him to clean up his life. He recently moved back in with his wife and three children near the west side of Las Vegas, where his work is displayed on walls and in restaurants. Edwards can be found regularly on the corner of Rainbow and Charleston, painting oil on canvas.>
