Matthew Callahan - All Hands Magazine

Matthew Callahan is a recently separated public affairs specialist for the U.S. Marine Corps. He is an award winning multimedia storytelling and the first service member named military videographer and military photographer of the year simultaneously in Department of Defense history in 2017. He got his start in image making in 2011 and branched out into video storytelling in 2014, leveraging both mediums to tell the story of Marines at home and abroad.

When not photographing people, Matthew continues to work on his love letter to Star Wars and the military in his sprawling photo essay, Galactic Warfighters.
